Our Mission

The purpose of SOURCE Conference is to bridge the gap between technical excellence and business acumen within the security industry. SOURCE fosters a community of learning where business and security professionals come together to gain knowledge and skills, network with peers, and advance their careers and professional development. Our Target Demographic

The SOURCE Experience

SOURCE attendees experience multiple days of intense one hour sessions taught by top security experts. Sessions hold 50-60 students, providing an intimate environment where attendees can ask questions, participate in discussions, and interact with other delegates and speakers.

Attendees have the choice of two (Seattle & Barcelona) or three (Boston) tracks:

Security and Technology - security software, mobile security, cloud security, database protection, secure coding practices, reverse engineering, exploit techniques, new software releases and technology demonstrations.

Business of Security - critical decision-making, enterprise security, entrepreneurship, risk management, issues of compliance, vulnerability management, SaaS, privacy laws, disclosure, and economics, data integrity, identity management, security standards, countermeasures, disaster recovery.

Application Security – threats, attacks, vulnerabilities, counter measures, testing, mobile application security, security testing, penetration testing, and static and dynamic code analysis, security development lifecycle (SDLC).

SOURCE combines top technological minds in the security industry with business professionals, executives, senior management, and industry experts providing insight into successful business practices for the security community. In addition to our advanced technical talks, SOURCE offers workshops on entrepreneurship, management strategies, job interviewing, presentation skills, and proficiencies and strategies designed for the security industry.
