SOURCE Conference Update!
Hey there! We’ve been a bit quiet lately, but it’s not for lack of activity. SOURCE Seattle just happened with great talks from our own Christien Rioux and Zach Lanier, along with Adam Shostack, Robert Lee, and Adam Meyers, among others. Check out the videos and slides [http://www.sourceconference.com/seattle/speakers_2012.asp] when you have a moment.
We wanted to bring your attention to a local Boston group that’s bringing high quality security-related content to the public, Masshackers. From the Masshackers page:
MassHackers is a grassroots effort that aims to build a local community of hackers, especially those with an interest in computer security, and to provide them with a forum for the free exchange of information. Though this forum is accessible in many ways (wiki, mailing list, IRC, etc.), its most prominent manifestation is that of a recurring, physical, face-to-face meeting with members of the group.
The next Masshackers meeting (October 2012) will take place this Wednesday at the Red Hat Cafe (near Government Center) on October 10th, 2012 at 6:30 PM EST. Drop by the wiki, masshackers.org, or just show up for more info! Newcomers are always welcome.
This month’s talks:
@jabra – TBA
@StonHu – Warping Time With Plaintext
@m0nk_dot – Meshing Stuff Up
Hope to see you there!
